Tropic of Cancer is a novel by Henry Miller. The book is a combination of autobiography and fiction. It was first published in 1934, then it was banned for almost 30 years.
The story takes place in Paris, France, and is a collection of Miller's experiences amongst the prostitutes, pimps, and all the people of underground Paris.
"A ranting, randy book carried along by a deep, sensual enjoyment of living" - Sunday Times
